THE RETREAT

We spent an incredible weekend with 15 amazing ladies as we invited them and their children on an all-expenses-paid weekend away.

It was a moment for them to take a break, enjoy being pampered, have fun, spend time with other mums and have great conversations. And that is exactly what we did! We had a dedicated team who created lots of fun activities for the children including; a water slide, donkey rides, team games, crafts, smores and so much more

We laughed, we cried but we left with big smiles on our faces. What a memorable weekend!

CARE 4 A SQUARE

On Saturday 18th May we truly had a FUNtastic time with 440 from the community.

Activities included archery, bouncy castles, craft, face painting, live music and so much more.

Thank you to all 80 volunteers and organisations that made this day possible. It was a special day to be a part of.

COOL FOR SCHOOL

Some families find the cost of going back to school a financial pressure. Cool for School supports and helps to ease that pressure in two ways:

Backpacks - New year 7 pupils are provided with a brand new backpack filled with everything they require for High School.

Coats - Primary & High School pupils are given a brand new, high quality warm winter coat.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Happy Holidays is a free, fun, action-packed educational children's summer programme which provides a variety of experiences, especially for children who perhaps otherwise may not have. During their time at Happy Holidays, each child receives a free hot meal, pudding and snacks.

Activities range from animal experiences, giant inflatables, games, campfires, rocket building and much more. It's a truly exciting and memorable experience for all who attend.

TURKEY FEST

Christmas can be very expensive and for some families this time of year can be a financial burden.

Our Turkey Fest programme helps by providing a hamper filled with all the ingredients needed to cook a full Christmas dinner for the whole family to enjoy.

At what might be a difficult time of year, the hampers bring a little light, happiness and hope.

Christmas Day

COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS

On Christmas Day there are many elderly, isolated and vulnerable people who are unable to cook a Christmas dinner for themselves or are without family to go to.

Community Christmas addresses this by providing a free hot Christmas dinner with all of the trimmings. Some of these meals are delivered to people's homes; for others, it’s not just the meal that matters but it’s the company, so once again we will be providing an in-house sit-down meal, festive fun, family atmosphere and friendship for those who otherwise would see no one on Christmas Day.
